"Backyard Bird Mural"
This 25'x8' mural was painted in 2022 in my childhood home, and encompasses the local wildlife my family grew up with. One of our favorite visitors are the painted buntings in the fall, so I created a design with a fabulous male perched on fall-fruiting beauty berry, surrounded by our saw palmettos and other visiting birds/butterflies (swallow-tailed kite, northern cardinal, red-bellied woodpecker, mourning dove, monarch butterfly, and zebra longwing butterfly).
To me this is an homage to the wildlife that first sparked my love for nature, exploring, and wild Florida.
