Pollinator Partnership - Pollinators Weave Connections
The 2025 theme for the Pollinator Partnership poster explored the vital roles pollinators play in our cultures, with a focus on indigenous cultures across North America. I chose to illustrate 16 plant and 13 pollinator species integral to North American ecosystems, all of which help provide food, medicine, fiber dyes, and other elements to indigenous cultures.
One of my main references while researching was the book “Iwagara: The Kinship of Plants and People” by Enrique Salmon, which details 80 plants most utilized by American tribes. “Iwagara in the Raramuri tribe is the belief that all life-forms are interconnected and share the same breath. While encompassing hundreds of cultures and the breadth of their relationships with pollinators is impossible, I hope this piece can express the spirit of Iwagara.
Nature is not separate from us – it is us, and even in our tech-driven world, we are all connected.

Florida Native Plant Society - Southgate Meadow Signage
The Broward County chapter of Florida Native Plant Society commissioned this signage for their “Southgate Meadow Reclamation Project.” This plot of developed land has been progressively restored into a native meadow, providing habitat for bees, butterflies, and birds in the area.

Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuge - Junior Ranger Handbook Cover
I created this piece for The Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuge’s “Junior Refuge Ranger” program handbook. This program connects kids with nature and raises new advocates for our protected lands. I had so much fun illustrating the unique habitats of the National Key Deer Refuge, and highlight some of its iconic residents, including the endangered Key deer, and a white morph of a great blue heron.

The best part of this project was that one of their 8 year old rangers made an original sketch for their design, and I got to bring it to life 😊 Thaddeus – thank you for your creativity!

Path of the Panther - The Florida Black Bear
This series was an illustrated social media post for the Path of the Panther highlighting the threats facing the Florida black bear.
In conjunction with this post, I taught a drawing lesson on their Instagram live stream, showing their audience how to draw a black bear while educating them about the species.
